Lily Solana Lynum, the first child of Orlando attorney Edward Juan Lynum and Aliya Killion Lynum was born today. Lily Solana is the third grandchild of Orlando Commissioner Daisy Lynum; third grandchild of Springfield College Professor Ghan Singh; and third grandchild of Zale Corp. President/CEO Theo Killion. Grandfather Edward Lynum, Jr., retired Wildwood chief of police and developer stopped keeping count but is nonetheless very proud.
Lily is born into a legacy of business, academic, and political leadership from both sides of her family. Many hope she will mark the third generation of the Lynum political firebrand exampled by her grandmother Daisy and father Juan, although Juan says his in-laws would prefer a business or academic following for her. Either way, she is their golden child with a remarkable and beloved family.
