She also tells when and where many customs originated. Some of the things are when was the first use of a spoon, the proper time to use a knife and which fork for what type of meal. Reading “The Unofficial Downton Abbey Cookbook” gives a better understanding of “Downton Abbey” and its characters. This is an interesting way for fans to feel a part of the show as well as try many new and different types of foods.
