Delta IV HeavyThis is the 16th and final launch of a Delta IV Heavy rocket.

Visitors can experience this historic moment from two exciting locations at the Kennedy Space Center: the main visitor complex, which is included with admission, or Banana Creek Launch Viewing Area at the Apollo/Saturn V Center with the purchase of an additional premium Launch Transportation Ticket.

The rocket has 15+ years of 100% mission success and proven heavy lift capability to deliver high-priority U.S. Air Force, U.S. Space Force, National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) and NASA payloads to orbit.

ULA has successfully delivered more than 155 missions to orbit that provide critical capabilities for troops in the field, aid meteorologists in tracking severe weather, enable personal device-based GPS navigation and unlock the mysteries of our solar system. ULA rockets have placed more than $70 billion of satellite assets into orbit.

The Delta IV launch system is available in three configurations: the Delta IV Medium+, with two or four solid rocket motors (SRMs), and the Delta IV Heavy. Each configuration is comprised of a common booster core (CBC), a cryogenic upper stage and a 5-meter-diameter payload fairing (PLF). The Delta IV Heavy employs two additional CBCs as liquid rocket boosters to augment the first-stage CBC.
