As Central Florida continues to compete in the global economy in areas of healthcare, financial services, and simulation and technology, the need for a qualified workforce will grow. Are Orange County’s children academically prepared to meet this challenge?
In hopes of engaging Orange County’s business community in a discussion of early care and education, the Early Learning Coalition of Orange County will host an interactive panel, “Focused on the First Five: The State of Early Care and Education in Orange County.” Attendees will receive information, data and bottom-line figures that demonstrate the return on investments in their future workforce.
The event will also kick-off the Early Care and Education Book and Supply Drive which will raise books and supplies for early care and education classrooms and at the same time raise awareness of the need for quality care and education in Orange County.
