On Monday, Orange County deputies revealed, the teens responsible for the shooting death of a Windermere police officer on Saturday, wrote suicide notes.

Brandon Goode, 18 and Alex Hollinghurst, 17, both from Davenport, gunned down Police Officer Robert German who was on routine foot patrol in a wealthy suburb near Orlando. Officer German had deemed the pair suspicious and had stopped to question the couple.

Shortly after Officer German was killed, shots were heard.  A search of nearby bushes turned up Goode and Hollinghurst, dead of apparent suicide, law enforcement said.

Early this morning, around 9:00 a.m., the vehicle belonging to the pair was located in the parking lot of Florida Bank of Commerce at 1126 East Vine Street in Kissimmee.

As the investigation continues, Orange County deputies learned from Polk County authorities that Goode and Hollinghurst were considered missing and endangered on account of the suicidal notes.

Investigators have not revealed the contents of the suicide notes written by Goode and Hollinghurst.
