The search is on for a missing teen, who left his home on Saturday morning, after posting a Facebook message on his wall indicating that he was tired of life.
Joshua Wheeler, 19, left his residence in the Celery Key subdivision in Sanford, sometime between 3:30 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. on Saturday, after messaging his girlfriend saying he loved her. Wheeler had also posted on his Facebook wall that he was tired of life.
Police say, concerned Facebook friends contacted law enforcement and informed them of Wheeler’s message. Wheeler’s parents told police that Joshua left the residence sometime within an hour after posting the Facebook message.
Joshua is about 5’10” tall and approximately 200 lbs. with short (shaved) blonde hair, and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing white shorts with red and blue stripes down the sides, unknown shirt, and black and white checkered slip-on shoes.
Joshua is considered missing/endangered due to Facebook posts and messages between friends.
Joshua recently volunteered to seek treatment at a mental facility, where he was prescribed medication and released. There is also some additional medication reported missing from the residence.
