A Tampa teen, lying in the road on Monday morning, was run over and killed by a car in Seminole County, Florida Highway Patrol said.
Troopers say, Antonio Milanes Cuesta, 19, was lying in the center lane of McCulloch Road near Orion Boulevard, when he was run over by a car.
22-year-old Adam Rodriguez, of Oviedo, was driving a 1997 Chevy around 3:20 a.m., when he ran over Cuesta. He told troopers he did not see Cuesta lying in the road.
Cuesta was taken to Florida Hospital East, where he died. Toxicology results are being awaited on Cuesta to determine whether alcohol was a factor.
Rodriguez was not injured.
Troopers say, the investigation is ongoing, but no charges are expected.
