Michael Dougherty, the 17-year-old wanted for several occupied Residential Burglaries was taken into custody by Tampa Police Department on Friday, September 24, 2010. He was driving a stolen vehicle from a Winter Park case.
The 17-year-old Dougherty is believed to be responsible for a string of residential burglaries in the City of Orlando, Winter Park and Orange County and Orlando Police was searching eaerlier for him.
Police said that Dougherty,is wanted on an active Juvenile Custody Order and Felony Arrest Warrant for crimes of Occupied Residential Burglary, Grand Theft, Grand Theft of a Motor Vehicle and Dealing in Stolen Property.
Police believe that Dougherty is responsible for about 14-15 occupied residential burglaries across Orange County, Winter Park and the City of Orlando.
Dougherty was taken into custody last Friday by the Tampa Police Department.
