Deputies have arrested a teenager accused of shooting to death another teen early on Monday morning.
17-year-old Jeremiah Pinkard was arrested Wednesday at 4613 Wassee Court. He is charged with first degree murder in the fatal shooting of 18-year-old Mcferrel Jones.
Orange County Sheriff’s investigators say, just after 1:00 a.m. on Monday, an altercation occurred between the two drivers near the intersection of Kirkman Road and West Colonial Drive.
Pinkard fired multiple rounds into Jones’ vehicle, fatally wounding him.
Pinkard was arrested just after 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
The investigation is ongoing and detectives ask that anyone with information call CRIMELINE at 1-800-423-TIPS.
