On Thursday, May 14, Superintendent Ronald Blocker will speak at the Tech-Ed-Nomics event along with State Attorney Lawson Lamar and Sherry Reeves, Executive Director of the Manufacturers Association of Central Florida.
This event will focus on the use of career and technical education as a catalyst for workforce and economic development. Special speakers and panelists will discuss how aligning education, business, government and nonprofit groups creates the right environment for job growth. Panel members include:

This Event will take place from 8:30 am to 10:00 am and will be held at Orlando Sentinel Communications, 633 North Orange Avenue, Orlando at the Company Conference Room.

Attendees are encouraged to park in the North Employee Lot (Colonial side of the main Orlando Sentinel building) and are welcome to park in any of the Sentinel’s employee or visitor parking lots. Please enter the building through the Colonial Street entrance (North lobby).
