Tampa Police detectives continue to investigate an armed robbery that occurred at the Little Caesars Pizza located at 6932 N Armenia Ave. just before 7:30pm on August 4th.
Investigators have gathered additional evidence showing the suspect driving what appears to be a mid-2000s Nissan Frontier pickup truck with a black hood and after-market black rims.
Tampa detectives are are asking the community to look closely at the photographs of the pickup and take another look at the video in the hope that someone may recognize the truck or the suspect.
As previously released, the armed suspect entered the store and threatened two employees with a handgun. The employees safely ran to the rear of the Central Florida business. No injuries were reported during the incident. The suspect then attempted to access the safe but was unsuccessful and left the scene without any money or property.
The suspect, captured on video, is described as a white or Hispanic male, approximately 5’8” tall and weighing around 220 pounds with a noticeable “pot belly.” The suspect’s face was completely covered by a multicolored mask. He was wearing a dark sweatshirt, jeans with multiple designs, and white tennis shoes.
Detectives are actively working to locate the truck, and identify and apprehend the Little Caesars Pizza armed robbery suspect.
