Tampa Police Detectives are investigating a shooting that resulted in the death of an adult white male in his early 40s.
Just before 2:00am on Monday, April 15th, Tampa Police responded to the report of a shooting in the 6500 block of Julie St.
Officers arrived to find the victim with upper body trauma.
The male victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where he died from his injuries.
While early in the investigation, this does not appear to be a random act, according to local law enforcement.
Detectives are gathering evidence and developing leads in the case.
