A man who investigators say was involved in a burglary in Vero Beach was tear gased out of a home early on Wednesday morning.
Joseph Diaz Cotto, 28, one of three suspects, was found hiding in the attic at a home in the 2300 block of Chera Court in Orlando.
Orange County SWAT memembers deployed several tear gas canisters in an effort to smoke Cotto out around 7:00 a.m.
Investigators say, Cotto along with Christian Morales Colon, 35, and Arnaldo Rivera, 28, was involved in an overnight burglary in Vero Beach, Florida.
Bose electronic equipment valued at over $30,000 was recovered in the home and a stolen van which, investigators say, was used to transport the goods.
Cotto has a long rap sheet that includes burglary and grand theft, dating back to 2000.
