Suspect in Bay Hill area Stabbing Identified

A man who stabbed another man and caused him to crash into a power pole in the Brentwood Club subdivision near Bay Hill on Thursday afternoon, has been identified.

Orange County investigators say, the man was identified by witnesses at the scene of the attack that occurred just after 4:00 p.m.

Investigators say, a fight broke out in a home in the 9800 block of Camberly Court between two persons known to each other. One man was stabbed and while driving away, crashed into a power pole.

Detectives found the man bleeding profusely in the crashed vehicle. In the car was the victim’s 6-year-old child, who is now with the mother, investigators said.

The man was taken to the Orlando Regional Medical Center with life threatening injuries.

Authorities have not released the name of the victim or the suspect. Investigators are hoping to release the name of the victim after they obtain an update on his condition later today.
