Did you marry your Superman or Wonder Woman believing that you could conquer the world together and live happily ever after? That is exactly what local residents, Rick and Sandee Lester believed. When they met, he was dressed as Superman and her nickname was Wonder Woman. They married and thought their relationship was invincible. Seven years and two children later, their superhero marriage almost ended in divorce.
When there seemed to be no hope for this couple, God miraculously saved their marriage. So grateful for the healing in their relationship and their lives, they began a ministry to reach out to other couples struggling in their marriages. In 1994, the Lester’s began “Resurrection Power Marriage Ministry”. The couple conducts marriage seminars, teaches marriage classes, counsels couples, and implements divorce intervention.
