Super Speeder Trying to Get to Miami Busted in Central Florida

A super speeder was busted in Central Florida on his way to Miami to celebrate his girlfriend’s birthday.

Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey reminded the community about Operation Slow Down, so they do not find out the hard way, like Marwan Frouh.

A deputy with the BCSO Traffic Enforcement Unit was continuing local efforts on I-95, when he observed a vehicle passing traffic at a high rate of speed. The excessive speed was of course confirmed by his radar that clocked the vehicle initially at 97 MPH, before it got faster according to law enforcement.

The deputy took off after the vehicle and by the time he caught up to him, he registered Frouh’s vehicle going 108 MPH while continuing to pass other cars, according to BCSO. Frouh made the smart decision of pulling over, and presented an out of state driver license, which the Sheriff stated was a clue that he did not know “what happens when you mess around in Brevard County.”

According to local law enforcement, Marwan Frouh stated he was on his way to Miami to celebrate his girlfriend’s birthday. “Unfortunately for him, he was going to be taking a detour to Ivey’s Iron Bar Lodge first, as he was placed under arrest for dangerous and excessive speeds,” Sheriff Wayne Ivey posted.

“Folks, we shouldn’t have to tell everyone to drive safe and follow the laws, but clearly some people need the reminder!! So take this as another warning, because we’re still out there and we are not going away!!”
