SunRail Trains Will Run Later at Night for Spring Break

This week, SunRail will be running trains later at night to see if any Spring Break crowds might opt to use the Orlando transportation system, especially with several special events taking place. No weekend service was added, so the late night trains will only run Monday to Friday. Even with the extended service times, there are some warnings to travelers that they may need to ride share or taxi home if they miss those last trains. The full SunRail train schedule is below.

The extended night schedule for SunRail trains will run Monday, March 14th to Friday, March 18th. The northbound schedule shows the last night train leaving Poinciana station at 9:55pm, LYNX Central station at 10:33pm, and arrving at the end of the line in DeBary at 11:23pm. The southbound schedule shows the last night train leaving DeBary station at 10:00pm, LYNX Central station at 10:48pm, and arriving at the end of the line in Poinciana at 11:28pm.

Some of the local events taking place near SunRail stations include: Anavitória at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts on Monday night; Orlando Magic games at the Amway Center on Tuesday night and Thursday night; the Sanford Art & Jazz Night on Thursday at 6pm; Patti Labelle at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts on Thursday night; and the 63rd Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival on Friday. The concerts specifically warn that “showtime may exceed return train service for southbound travelers. Please consider ride sharing or taxi for your ride home.”

Orlando Magic fans also get to ride the SunRail train for free with game day ticket.

SunRail also advises riders to arrive at the station 20 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time, as trains do not have the flexibility to wait on latecomers. Here’s the full train schedule for Spring Break in Orlando:
