RailWorks is currently looking for qualified employees for the following positions on the SunRail project:

  • Roadmaster
  • Signal Maintainers
  • Signal Inspector
  • Track Maintenance Supervisor

Interested persons should contact RailWorks’ HR representative at:  [email protected].

Meanwhile, the Florida Department of Transportation recently executed an Insurance Broker Services contract awarded to Arthur J. Gallagher Risk Management Services Inc.

RailWorks will maintain the existing 62 miles of track to current main line conditions while also building approximately 14 miles of new track including 66 turnouts. RailWorks also will install 87 new crossings with new track, signals and train control and will construct a new yard and maintenance facility.

SunRail, to be undertaken in five segments, is estimated to generate over 13,000 new jobs and bring economic benefits to the region of over $1.5 billion.  Also, it is estimated that Transit Oriented Development (TOD) connected with SunRail will generate over 245,000 new jobs and over $7 billion in economic benefits.
