A man who robbed a Subway restaurant on September 7, and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash, has been arrested.
Daniel Robert Cool, 35, was on Wednesday and booked into the Orange County Jail.
Cool walked into the Subway located at 7171 S. Orange Avenue around 10: 00 a.m., and demand money from one of the employees. The worker told investigators she believed that the man, later identified as Cool, had his hand under his shirt and she feared that he carried a gun. The employee opened the register drawer and as she handed over the cash, the suspect told her he wanted $5 dollar bills too.
Shortly after the armed robbery, Orange County deputies released a video of the crime, which clearly showed Cool’s face. They believe that the video was instrumental in his apprehension.
Cool was charged with robbery with a firearm. He was booked into the Orange County Jail, without bond.
