King High School, assistant principal, Yinka Alege could be in trouble because of his unusual method of disciplining students at the school.
Several boys from the school have file a report with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s office saying that they were called in to the assistant principal, Yinka Alege’s office where they were asked to take off one of their shoes and socks. Alege then popped their toes.
The boys were summoned to Alege’s office due to falling grades. They have said that the unusual punishment didn’t hurt them, but they did not like it.
At the time, no disciplinary charges were filed against Alege. Now, the matter is being investigated and Alege could himself be disciplined.
Alege told one of the students that he could not hit him, so the toe popping was a form of punishment.
