SunRail, Central Florida’s commuter train, is chugging along towards its second anniversary of service. But despite a lot of hype from officials and some expensive PR, SunRail ridership remains flat. After all this time and all the money spent, it is still nowhere near the first year goal of only 4,300 daily riders.
Last month, SunRail only averaged 3,673 total daily boardings.

Maybe they should have built tracks on I-4 instead of those toll lanes they are working on. At least then the stations would be near major malls and other commerce centers like Maitland Center and Heathrow
