A Winter Garden woman and Dundee store owner was arrested Tuesday, charged with the wholesale promotion of obscene material, Polk County deputies said.
53-year-old Minakashiben Patel, of Timber Creek Pines, Winter Garden, was taken into custody, after undercover detectives, working on a tip, purchased 10 pornographic videos at the Sunoco Superway #6 Gas and convenience store, located at 201 Dundee Road, Dundee.
Today, detectives executed a search warrant at the business. Patel was the only person working in the store at the time. During the search detectives also located drug paraphernalia which was being sold in the store.
Patel was charged with wholesale promotion of obscene material, possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to sell, distribution of obscenity (10 Counts) and possession of obscenity with intent to sell (10 Counts). Â Patel was booked into the Polk County Jail and is being held without bond.
