‘Stop Pointing the Gun at Me’: Deputies Investigate Shooting Incident in Crowded Home

Deputies are investigating a shooting incident in a home off Apopka Vineland Road on Sunday morning.

The home, located in the 3200 block of Bon Aire Drive, was filled with seven adults and found children at the time of shooting incident around 10:30 a.m.

Orange County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center received a 911 call from a cell phone in the area of the incident and hear only the words, “stop pointing the gun at me.”

A neighbor told investigators he witnesses an argument at the residence and then heard “three pops.”

Deputies set up a perimeter around the house and called out its occupants. That’s when, seven adults and four children emerged.

Investigators say, the occupants were victims of an aggravated assualt.

No one was injured.

Deputies have not identified the shooter and no charged have yet been filed, as the investigation is ongoing.
