State Representative Linda Stewart (D-Orlando) will host a town hall meeting for constituents of Florida House District 47 to hear what they consider important for the upcoming 2013 legislative session. Members of the news media are welcome to attend.
Stewart has long had a policy of open door meetings with constituents, and will continue to hold Community Office Hours in January.
Thursday’s town hall meeting precedes an Orange County Legislative Delegation meeting that takes place from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17, at the Orange County Administration Building, 201 S. Rosalind, Orlando. The 2013 Florida legislative session begins in Tallahassee on March 3 and is scheduled to end May 5.
