Stetson University College of Law is opening a new Veterans Law Institute on May 31 in Gulfport, Florida.
The institute will serve the growing population of active duty military, veterans and their families in the Tampa Bay area, one of the largest concentrations of military veterans in the U.S. The institute’s Veterans Advocacy Clinic will provide representation to veterans seeking government benefits as well as those appealing decisions denying benefits.
The Honorable Bruce E. Kasold, chief judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims, will present the keynote address at the opening of Stetson’s Veterans Law Institute on Thursday, May 31st.
Stetson University College of Law is Florida’s first law school. The law school is located in the Gulfport/St. Petersburg area with a satellite campus in downtown Tampa.
