A teenager, who brazenly posed as a physician’s assistant will face six charges.
The Ninth Circuit State Attorney has charged Matthew Scheidt, 17, with four counts of practicing medicine without a license and two counts of impersonating a physician’s assistant, cfnews13.com reports.
Last month, Scheidt was arrested by the Kissimmee police.
Scheidt was able to obtain hospital credentials as a physician’s assistant, where he interviewed patients and looked at confidential records over a two-week period. He even performed physical examinations on patients and worked in the emergency room of the hospital for a week, law enforcement officers said.
The charges brought by the State Attorney’s Office were filed in adult court, cfnews13.com reported.
