Magic Head Coach Stan Van Gundy spoke on Wednesday, to guests at Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida’s corporate Faces of the Future Fundraising Breakfast.
Aiming to assist the Clubs’ fundraising efforts, Van Gundy discussed the importance and impact the Boys & Girls Clubs had on him as a youth. Van Gundy was a member of the Martinez, California Boys Club.
The corporate breakfast was a cost-free, one-hour program that featured the successes of Club members, including alumni. Community leaders also lent their time and support through powerful testimonials of how Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida is making a positive difference in the lives of young people.
The goal of the Faces of the Future Fundraising Breakfast is to raise unrestricted funds in support of Boys & Girls Clubs’ youth development programs and the over 12,000 children served at the 29 Clubs each year. The intent is to also help spread their message/mission to the community.
