Tony Parker was a one man show as he led the visiting San Antonio Spurs to an 85-83 overtime win against the Magic Wednesday night.

Parker dropped 25 points 16 of them coming in the 4th quarter and overtime to go along with 7 rebounds and 9 assists. With Manu Ginobili sidelined Tony has certainly shouldered the load for the Spurs.

“We wanted to come here and try to play well and have an opportunity to win the game,” Parker said. “I’m happy it bounced our way finally.”

The Spurs would win a game on the road for the first time this season after losing 5 in a row including blowing a 17 point lead in Miami just last night.

“It took every minute of that game and we couldn’t make shots at the right time, but we continued to make stops, continued to push,” Tim Duncan said.

Dwight Howard finished the game with 25 points to go along with 24 rebounds his fourth 20-20 game this season followed by Ryan Anderson’s 17 points and Von Wafers 15 off the bench.

The loss snapped Orlando’s 5 game win streak closing out their back to back to back.

“We just came up short in the end,” Howard said. “Third game in a row, (we) fought hard for the whole game. So there’s nothing bad you can say about tonight’s game.”

Jameer Nelson’s missed jumper in overtime would be rebounded and dunked by Howard to tie the game at 81. The Spurs next possession Gary Neil hit a 3, putting them up 84-81.

Wafer attacked the basket hit a layup and got the foul call with 16.3 seconds left. However he missed the free throw leaving the Magic down one. Richard Jefferson would be fouled immediately hitting only 1 of 2 free throws.

Orlando got opportunities from 3 to win the game on their final possession but a JJ Redick make came after the buzzer.

The Magic will have a night of rest before hosting Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers Friday evening at 8pm. This would set up the much anticipated meeting between Dwight Howard and Andrew Bynum.
