The son of a video store owner was shot and killed in an armed robbery in Haines City on Friday morning, and the public’s help is needed in apprehending these criminals.
20-year-old Jaime Magana, Jr., was killed after two men, brandishing a handgun, entered the Video Latino store at 1719 Hinson Avenue in Haines City, Polk County Sheriff’s deputies said.
The suspects, two black males, entered the store around 9:30 a.m., shortly after it was open for business at 9:00 a.m. Â Surveillance video captured the images of both suspects as they struggled with Magana, and removed cash from the register. Â Magana was found dead inside the store.
One of the suspects, taller than the second, wore a white t-shirt with lettering on the front. He also wore a Florida Marlin’s cap, sunglasses, and blue jeans.
The second black male wore a long sleeve, dark colored hoodie style shirt, jeans and a camouflage style cap with text.
