State Senator Gary Siplin will present the “2012 Redistricting Forum” tomorrow, January 28th at Evans High School in Pine Hills.
The forum is designed to update Orlando residents on the progress that is being made in the Redistricting process at the Congressional, State, County, City and School Board levels.
Citizens are invited to join Senator Siplin, and representatives from the Orange County Redistricting Advisory Commission, the City of Orlando Redistricting Advisory Board, and Orange County Public Schools Reapportionment Advisory Committee as they discuss how redistricting will effect Central Florida.
C-SPAN’s 2012 Campaign Bus will also be present at Saturday’s event. The Bus is equipped with computer kiosks that access C-SPAN’s many websites, including the Video Library, C-SPAN Classroom, Congressional Chronicle, and Book TV. Visitors will also be able to test their knowledge of public affairs with quizzes, learn about StudentCam and follow the Road to the White House.
