The “Sheriff’s 2012 Community Crime Summit” will take place on September 19, at the Orange County Convention Center beginning at 8:30 p.m.
The purpose of the Crime Summit is to make Orange County residents aware of crime trends and continue communication between law enforcement and citizens with the goal of improving safety in our community.
This year’s Crime Summit will cover a variety of topics of concern to local communities. These include: the state of gangs in Orange County, children’s mentoring programs, crime updates, the National Neighborhood Watch Program and the Citizen’s Advisory Council.
