Orange County Sheriff Jerry Demings and Orange/Osceola Chief Judge Frederick J. Lauten will team up to bring attention to a problem plaguing this area: jury duty scams.
At a press conference Thursday, Demings and Chief Judge Lauten will discuss how these subjects execute their ploy and how citizens can protect themselves and those they care about, from becoming victims of this crime.
A victim will speak about her experience as well.
