Sex may be a valuable tool in recruiting spies overseas, but those methods have gotten the CIA into some trouble.
Middle East CIA case officer Andrew Warren allegedly took informants to strip clubs, arranged trips to brothels and, according to two Algerian women, drugged and sexually assaulted them. Although he may be on his way out the door, The Washington Post reports that a couple of other sex scandals have arisen — one involving a top CIA officer pushing for his less-than-qualified mistress to get a job at the agency, and another involving an agency veteran using CIA credit cards to pay for hotel rooms and gifts for the lady he kept on the side.
