Several schools in Orange County ordered a lockdown after a suspicious package was found early on Monday morning.
Deputies say, the suspicious package turned out to be a stuffed animal – a rocking horse, with a black item strapped to it.
Authorities say, out of an abundance of caution, several schools in the area of Crystal Glen Boulevard and Rollman Road were placed on lockdown.
The names of the schools have not been released.
A statement from the Sheriff’s Office said, deputies are continuing to monitor the situation and are employing best practices under the circumstances.
