Two bombs went off near the finish line of the Boston Marathon on Monday afternoon, leaving at least 2 dead and dozens more injured, according to news reports.
According to police, a third explosion went off near the JFK Library in Boston.
The Orange County Sheriff Office issued the following statement in light of the deadly bombings:
Orange County Sheriff Jerry Demings is closely following the explosion near the Finish Line at the Boston Marathon. Orange County deputies have been made aware of this incident and asked to be vigilant as they conduct their patrols.
