Officers of the Seminole County Fire Department are concerned for one of their own who has not been heard from since leaving to go on a recent out-of-state trip.
31-year-old Jerry Perdomo, of Orange City, drove a 2011 Gold Toyota Camry rental car from Florida to Bangor, Maine. The car bearing Florida registration number 486 LAR, was found abandoned on Friday in the Walmart parking lot on Stillwater Avenue in Bangor.
According to authorities, Perdomo failed to show up for work on Sunday. Earlier this week, his family notified the Seminole County Fire Department that Jerry was missing and they had not heard from him since he left on his trip.
“We are deeply concerned and in hope of safe news as to where he is,” said Leeanna Mims, Seminole County Fire Chief.
Firefighter Perdomo is described as Puerto Rican male, 5’11”, 200 pounds, black hair and brown eyes last seen wearing a black zip up hooded sweatshirt, army fatigue shorts, and black sneakers.
Anyone with information on missing Firefighter Jerry Perdomo is asked to contact Bangor Maine Police Department at # 207-947-7382 or leave an anonymous message pressing 6 on the Tip Line.
Firefighter Perdomo started his career with Seminole County Fire Department in June of 2009. Prior to his employment with Seminole County Fire Department, he served with the United States Marine Corp.
