Seminole County Animal Services: 12th Annual Pet Adopt-a-Thon, March 21

AdoptaThonDate: Saturday March 21, 2015 from 10am to 3 pm

Location: 17-92 and Bush Blvd. across the street from Flea World… just look for the field with all the tents in it.

Admission is Free and well behaved dogs on leashes are invited. (No flexi leashes please)

Come out and enjoy a fun filled day, there will be lots to do and see and you just may go home with a new pet:

  • Meet World Champion wrestler D-Von Dudley of the Dudley Boyz  from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
  • Vaccine clinic provided by Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando. $10 rabies vaccines and $15 microchips, plus other vaccines available for your pet.  10a.m.to 3p.m.
  • Help paint a panel with Jeff the “Paint the Trail” artist. Anyone helping to paint the dog or cat panel can sign it and it will be displayed on the Seminole County Trail.
  • Giant prize drawing hosted by T.E.A.R.S. (Together Every Animal Receives Support)
  • Gift card drawings by Mastro Subaru (check out a couple of their new cars Too!)
  • Have your dog join in on the Doggie Games, Dachshund Races (open to every breed), and Best Pet Trick Contest. There will be prizes for all the winners.
  • Save a Pet and/or Save a Life the Big Red Bus will be on site all day for blood donations (Free movie ticket with each donation)
  • Have your dog try the sport of AGILITY with Natural Instinct Dog Training free agility run through and mini training sessions throughout the day WMMO will be doing a live broadcast from the event from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Seminole County Animal Services will have half price dog and cat adoptions the day of the event at the Animal Services shelter walking distance from the event.
  • Face Painting, fresh squeezed lemonade, Bake sale, photos with the Easter Bunny, Doggie Ice Cream, Music and More.

And best of all dozens of rescue groups will be on site with fantastic dogs and cats, puppies and kittens available for adoption.
