Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Janet Napolitano will travel to Florida on Friday, May 22, with Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Administrator Craig Fugate and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Assistant Secretary John Morton.
The group will meet with members of Congress and state and local officials, tour hurricane response and recovery centers and observe Miami Port operations.
The trip will include stops in Orlando and Miami, during which Secretary Napolitano will see firsthand hurricane preparedness efforts and port security measures being implemented by DHS.
