Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida recently hired Jackie Nitti and Rachel B. Eisenberg to augment its development team.
Nitti brings two decades of nonprofit experience to her new role as Major Gifts Officer. She will be responsible for building donor relations by demonstrating how individual financial contributions support hunger relief efforts across Central Florida.
As Major Gifts Manager, Eisenberg will work closely with donors to match their personal interests and passions to specific food programs aimed at reducing food insecurity among children, seniors, veterans, and others.
“Both Jackie and Rachel are driven to cultivate change in the communities where they live and work, making them the perfect fit for our team,” said Greg Higgerson, Chief Development Officer at Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida. “We’ve seen more families struggle with food insecurity for the first time due to the pandemic, and given that fact, our new team members will be instrumental in continuing relief efforts.”
A graduate of Rowan University in New Jersey, Nitti is an active member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and serves as board secretary for the Sanford Historic Trust.
Eisenberg graduated from the University of Central Florida and obtained a volunteer management certificate from Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business.
