Orlando police are searching for suspects who stole a 67-year-old disabled military veteran’s wallet, then used his debit card and PIN number to scam him out of more than $700.
The military veteran, whose wallet was stolen on August 2, went to Amscott on August 4, to withdraw funds only to learn that someone had used his PIN to access his account two days before. The elderly man’s PIN was the last four digits of his Social Security number which he had in his wallet, police said.
The stolen card was used at Walmart on South Kirkman Road, Liquor Master, Orlando Main Lobby and Regional Bank. More than $700 was stolen from the victim’s account.
Anyone who recognizes these suspects from the photos and video stills, is urged to call Crimeline at #1-800-423-TIPS.
