Reports and rumors have been swirling that Scott Randolph is not going to run for the State Legislature this year, instead he’s going to run for state party chair of the Democratic Party. And more than that, his wife Susannah, is rumored to be taking his place as a candidate.
It is said that Scott wants Victor Torres to win in District 48, the same district that Jackie Centero has chosen to run in. Don’t quote me on the district number, as it may be wrong.
Many within the Orange County DEC are upset with Scott because he seems to only want self-gain and not aid the party in being more progressive. I am told, he is using the seat as a way to become state party chair.
It’s rumored too that, Scott refuses to meet with any local candidates, as he perceives them as not serious contenders if they have little cash. Wow! Really?
