Rick Scott: I’m Not Sure, I Wouldn’t Know

Today, Democratic gubernatorial candidate, Alex Sink released a video of her opponent Republican Rick Scott in a 1995 deposition that he gave in a lawsuit filed in Nashville, Tennessee.  The video shows Scott answering straightforward questions with questions.

The video released is not the Solantic deposition Scott gave seven days before he announced his candidacy for governor early this year, a deposition he refuses to release.  It is also not the deposition in which he invoked the Fifth Amendment 75 times.

According to the News Service of Florida, Sink’s campaign said that the video released is one from a suit filed by Orlando Regional Health against Scott’s Columbia/HCA Health in which Scott answers questions with questions.

On many occasions in his sworn deposition, Scott said, “I don’t recall”, and “I’m not sure” or ” I wouldn’t know”, or “I am not sure what a market is”, and “What do you mean by occupancy” or various versions of these answers to simple questions asked.

Sink’s campaign said Scott performance under oath showed that he could not be trusted with the Governor’s Mansion.
