Gov. Rick Scott plans to attend a Sept. 11 memorial at Boca Raton High School on Tuesday before taking questions from students for about an hour, the principal of the school told The Palm Beach Post on Monday.
Scott, who was attending another event with teachers and students in Jacksonville on Monday, also plans to hold a roundtable discussion with some faculty members at Boca Raton High after school is out on Tuesday afternoon, the Post reported. He will then attend the school’s open house on Tuesday evening and greet parents as well.
“I like talking to people and finding ways we can improve,” Scott said while speaking to reporters Monday about his plan of visiting several schools this week.
