School Board to Hear from Community on New Dress Code


The Lake County School Board is scheduled to host three community meetings to discuss the dress code policy for students next school year.

The community meetings are scheduled for:

Tuesday, Oct. 11
6 to 7:30 p.m.
Eustis High, 1300 E. Washington Ave.

Wednesday, Oct. 12
6 to 7:30 p.m.
Leesburg High, 1401 Yellow Jacket Way

Tuesday, Oct. 18
6 to 7:30 p.m.
East Ridge Middle, 13201 Excalibur Road

During the community meetings, staff will present five different dress code options. The dress code options range from the Lake County Schools current dress code policy to a uniform dress code. The proposed options are available to view online at www.lake.k12.fl.us. The School Board will be available at the community meetings to hear public input about the dress code options.
