An anonymous tip, led to the arrest of a man who Sanford police said, walked into a Walgreens drug store and urinated on dozens of cough drops.
22-year-old Larry Donell White, Jr., of Daffodil Terrace, Sanford, was arrested on Thursday, charged with damage to property and criminal mischief.
Police said, White on April 21, entered the Walgreens store at 2401 S. French Avenue and went to the aisle where cough drops are located. White then unzipped his pants and urinated on about 110 packages of cough drops.
An anonymous tip, after the story broke on the news, along with video, led police to White’s workplace on Thursday.
White, who agreed to be interviewed at the Sanford Police station, denied all allegations, but did admit to detectives he had been to several Walgreens in the past.
White was arrested and faces two charges: damage to property and criminal mischief and crimes against a person and culpable negligence to inflict harm. He was transported to the Seminole County Jail and bond was set at $550.
