After a nightmarish two months or so, Oscar-winning actress Sandra Bullock, revealed a wonderful secret–she has just become a proud new single mom. Well not just! In an exclusive interview with People Magazine, Bullock said she adopted her new born son, Louis, last January, a process that began, about four years ago.
Describing her three-and-a half month-old son, Bullock told the magazine, “He’s just perfect, I can’t describe him any other way.”
Named after jazz great, Louis Armstrong, the child Louis Bardo Bullock is African-American born in New Orleans, a city where Bullock and her husband spent sometime after Hurricane Katrina.
Bullock 45, and husband Jesse James, 41, said that, apart from close friends and family, they decided to keep the adoption news a secret until after the Oscars to avoid the media frenzy which was sure to have taken place.
But, just 10 days after the Oscars on March 7, the major scandal of James’ philandering with multiple women erupted. Bullock told the magazine that she is adopting Louis as a singe parent.
Bullock also said that she has filed for a divorce from James, her husband of five years.
