Running of the Bulls

Nate Robinson and the Chicago Bulls shocked the Miami Heat Monday night with their 93-86 win over the defending champs.

Third string point guard Robinson starting in place of Derrick Rose and Kirk Hinrich due to injury, led the undermanned Bulls with 27 points and 9 assists.

“I’m just doing what it takes to help my team win,” Robinson said. “The guys are trusting in me and I’m playing with confidence.”

It’s only the third loss for the Heat since January 15th.

Chicago kept the game close with tenacious defense and timely scoring, also didn’t hurt the Heat looked extremely rusty and just not themselves.

Miami only shot 39% from the field and an abysmal 29% from beyond the arc.

You can blame that on too many days off or the fact Chicago’s defense made it extremely difficult for the Heat to find any type of rhythm.

“The days off had something to do with the poor shooting but we can’t have any excuses,” LeBron said.

James who finished with 24 points 8 rebounds and 7 assists only scored 2 points in the first half.

Before the game LeBron received his fourth MVP in five seasons, joining the likes of Michael Jordan, Wilt Chamberlin and Kareem Abdul Jabbar as the only players with four or more.

If the Heat want to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals they can’t allow the Bulls to out play them on both ends of the floor.

Game two is scheduled for Wednesday night in Miami, tip off set for 7pm.
