U.S. Senator Marco Rubio delivered a keynote speech at the Florida Police Chiefs Association’s Summer Conference in Bonita Springs, in which he highlighted the importance of our law enforcement’s unwavering commitment to keeping our communities strong and safe.
“Words cannot truly express the appreciation and respect that I, and so many of our fellow Americans, have for the work our law enforcement leads,” said Senator Rubio, a Republican. “We owe our men and women in uniform an immense debt of gratitude. They show up every day, not knowing what they’ll face, to keep our state and local communities safe.”
The Florida Police Chiefs Association is our nation’s third-largest state police chiefs association, uniting more than 1,000 of Florida’s law enforcement executives and members. Since its inception in 1952, the association has remained committed to its mission of advocating legislation that strengthens public security and ensures superior police protection for Florida’s residents and numerous visitors.
The Florida Police Chiefs Association also recently endorsed Republican Governor Ron DeSantis for President of the United States of America in 2024 over former President Donald Trump.
