Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer, Orlando Magic President Alex Martins and more than 150 people, including students from Nap Ford Community School will take part in the traditional “Royal Flush” at the new Amway Center in downtown Orlando on Wednesday.
Sponsored by Drano, the “Royal Flush” aims to observe sanitary sewer flows, water consumption and pressure in and around the arena.
Approximately 443 toilets will be flushed simultaneously; there are 18 men’s and 19 women’s restrooms in the new Amway Center, compared to just four of each in the old facility.
The new 875,000 square feet arena is scheduled to open on October 1, 2010.
