The Winter Park Institute at Rollins College will host New York Times Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist Nicholas Kristof on September 6th. Kristof will discuss human rights violations regarding the oppression of women and girls in the developing world.
Kristof co-authored the bestselling book Half the Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide, with his wife, Sheryl WuDunn, also a New York Times journalist and Pulitzer Prize winner.
Kristof is often called the “reporter’s reporter” for his human right advocacy and his efforts to give voice to the voiceless.
